“Karen Hardy is an absolute star, no one works harder, gives more or feels more passionately about dance. She’s a pleasure to watch and to work with.”
Sam Donnelly, Executive Producer, Strictly Come Dancing

“We all know Karen Hardy as a winner of Strictly Come Dancing – this is because she is a brilliant dancer and a great choreographer. She had the talent to teach cricketer Mark Ramprakash how to become an excellent ballroom dancer.”
Sir Bruce Forsyth CBE

“I have known Karen and had the pleasure of working with her for over 5 years now. We at Strictly absolutely love Karen to bits. With her there is never a dull moment! I’m thinking of the drama, the emotion and the commitment to excellence. Karen is an amazing choreographer – always getting the best and more out of her partner. She brings genuine warmth to the show which has endeared her not just to us the crew, but also to the people watching at home. Ms Hardy is one fiesty, talented, gorgeous lady and to top it all, She’s a mum too! We salute her! “Keeeep dancing!””
Tess Daly, Presenter, Strictly Come Dancing

“Working with Karen on Diet on the Dancefloor has been fantastic. She’s a great judge; exacting and tough but very fair and encouraging to all the contestants. She was amazingly committed to the show, incredibly professional and her expertise in everything dance was invaluable. Most of all she was great fun to work with and I hope we get to do it again.”
Hannah Wyatt, Executive Producer, Diet on the Dancefloor

“We at 2Entertain are huge fans of Karen. We worked together on the very successful Strictly Come Dancersize programme where Karen’s energy and focussed professionalism proved absolutely invaluable. She’s great fun to be with and inspires confidence in those around her. We wish Karen nothing but the success she deserves.”
Paul Hembury, Programming & Acquisitions Director, 2Entertain

“Karen’s stint as Breakfast’s Strictly Correspondent worked brilliantly. Her broadcasting is easily as good as her dancing, and as far as I’m concerned she can’t put a foot wrong.”

“We are delighted to have Karen Hardy as our ambassador for our Ballroom product range, both the public and trade where happy to meet her at the Move It Exhibition where she again endeared herself to all as the girl next door with time for everyone. The brand awareness as a result of this is without doubt worth while and we look forward to our continued working relationship with her.”

“Karen is not only an amazing dancer, but a fantastic person to be around. Her knowledge of dance, natural energy and enthusiasm makes being taught by her a real joy.”
Gerry Murphy, Marketing Director, Superdrug

“Karen is one of the greatest Latin American dancers I know – she is warm, kind, bubbly and truly a lovely person and I am proud to be able to say that she is also a good friend. Although I had seen Karen dance for many years I first realised her true potential when I was judging a competition in South Africa (“Rumba in the Jungle”) and Karen, with her new partner then Bryan Watson, did a Latin American demonstration. I realised then what a fantastic dancer she was and what great potential they had as a couple. Some years later having won the World, European and British Championships my first impressions were justified. Over the years we met at many competitions/events and became friends but after Karen retired from Competition dancing we only saw each other occasionally at various events. I bumped into her once at Dusseldorf Airport. We had both been teaching there but in different dance clubs and with a two hour delay to our flight back to London we both reacquainted our friendship over a beverage or two. I then got to know the real Karen, a warm, friendly and generous person, as she insisted on paying for my dinner! With the advent of Strictly Come Dancing and the impact it had on the dance world, it wasn’t long before the Producers of the programme were looking to extend the number of celebrities taking part on the show and of course required professional partners for them. I was asked it I knew any suitable professionals and one of my suggestions was Karen Hardy – and the rest as they say is history.”
Len Goodman, Head Judge, Strictly Come Dancing
